Is this a NIOSH Approved N95? Yes. ACI model 3120 is listed by NIOSH under approval number TC-84A-9318 as a surgical N95 filtering facepiece respirator.

What is the difference between the 10 pack and the box of 50? It is the same ACI 3120 mask. Only the quantity and packaging change: the box of 50 is also available.

Does it have an exhalation valve? No. Per the CDC, respirators without a valve also filter the air you breathe out, so they help protect people around you as well. CDC: respirator and mask types.

Does it protect against gases or odors? No. N95 respirators filter particles, such as smoke and dust particles. They do not filter gases or vapors.

How do I get a good fit? Place the mask over your nose and under your chin, position the straps, then press the nosepiece to your face with both hands. Check for gaps each time you put it on. A good seal is not possible over facial hair. Read the instructions on the package before use.

Can I reuse it? It is a disposable respirator. Throw it away when it becomes dirty, damaged or harder to breathe through.

Who should check with a doctor first? The EPA advises people with heart or lung problems, and people who are pregnant, to ask their doctor before using a respirator.
